Application Assistance
CDBG-ED Program staff maintains copies of application guidelines and other materials designed to aid application preparation. Sample program income plans, Program Income/RLF Manual, and other documents are available. Application guidelines and many other program materials are available via email, computer diskette, cd, or hard copy. Please contact the CDBG-ED Program Manager for assistance.
Regional Development Officers (RDO) with the Business Resources Division must prescreen any potential CDBG-ED project. Each RDO will assist in packaging the proposal and provide follow-up assistance to the businesses. The RDO will work with the Department's loan review committee, local development organization and community officials, and the business, if it appears the project has genuine potential to benefit the community and create jobs. Contact the Regional Development Officer in your region for more information or help with this process.
